Celebrate your wedding in an elegant 19th century villa with panoramic views and unique features. Sitting amidst the tuscan olive groves, the Villa Controna offers spectacular views of the famous medieval-walled city of Lucca and of Nottolini's acquaduct.

The estate features stately gardens, castle ruins, a ranch-style equestrian center and a a decorative private capella.

Luxury accommodation can also be provided for the couple and their attendees. Villa Controna features 6 beautiful bedrooms. One room has two twin beds and 5 rooms have a queen bed, 4 of which also feature an ensuite bathroom. Several reception rooms are found throughout the villa including a large, formal living area and a sitting area with cane seating. The office is complete with internet access, telephone and fax. Many rooms feature frescoed ceilings.

The charming italian-country styled kitchen is also used by the on-site chef to prepare the various daily meals. A buffet styled breakfast and either lunch or dinner are provided 6 days each week. Villa Controna's wine cellar features an enviable collection of rare vintages.Guests may dine in the formal dining area or 'al frescoed' in the charming enclosed terrace.

The estate offers many amenities. Walk, mountain bike or horseback ride throughout the estate and surrounding hills. Relax in the pool, comfortably enset in the beautifully manicured italian gardens.

Villa Controna is ideally located to explore all the grandeur of Tuscany. Explore Florence, the birthplace of the Renaissance, and visit the historical sites.
