String Quartet (or Trio)
Three or four musicians with great experience in "light"
and classical music: First Violin, Second Violin, Viola and
Violoncello. This choice is ideal for the ceremony, wedding,
reception and other types of parties. They have a wide range
of Renaissance, Baroque, Classical and "Light music". We suggest
this musical combination for civil and religious ceremonies.
The musicians perform a soft base during cocktails, and during
the reception, with classical pieces, and famous film scores,
and then move to the traditional Italian and Neapolitan style.
You will then enjoy dancing with Strauss, laughing with The
Rag Time of Scott Joplin and have fun with the most famous
Italian and international songs.
"Giglio of Florence" Orchestra and
Soloists
The orchestra "Giglio of Florence" has musicians with solid
experience in lyrical, classical and "light music". This choice
is interesting if you want an unforgettable moment with a
instrumental concert. A tenor and/or soprano can be added
to sing traditional lyrics. The orchestra is composed of four
First Violins, three Second Violins, 2 Violas, 1 Violoncello
and contrabass. The orchestra can perform Classical and Baroque
pieces and also dance music, with waltz and minuets. This
choice is suitable for ceremonies, weddings, receptions, and
other types of parties. Various combinations (duo, trios,
quartet, etc) can be arranged. The repertory may vary from
Renaissance dances, Baroque minuets (Bach, Cimarosa, etc)
to Vivaldi music and to the famous classic and romantic pieces.
With an add of tenor and/or soprano the repertory can be enlarged
to Verdi, Puccini, Mascagni, Leocavallo, and the beautiful
Neapolitan songs. The orchestra can also be perform in Renaissance
costumes to capture the atmosphere of the Humanistic Florence,
and the ancient origins of the Florentine and Tuscan Culture.
Vocal Quartet "Tuscan Globe Singers"
This quartet has four "light music" singers and a director
at the piano. They are perfect for ceremonies and entertainments.
They have a wide repertory, for four voices, from classical
to religious, gospel and "Light music" as well. For an unforgettable
ceremony they will enhance the different moments of the celebration
with happy gospel melodies, and also thoughtful classical
or Gregorian music. For the entertainment, the vocal quartet,
represents an alternative to classical music. During the meal
the quartet will offer musical performances that will vary
from gospel to "Light music", as well as, traditional music.
The quartet has Soprano, Contralto, Tenor, Baritone and a
director. On request the quartet can become an Octet and/or
a little chorus.
Jazz Band
This group has expert musicians that play Jazz and Swing.
The repertory includes the most well known artists like Duke
Ellington and Miles Davis. For a musical background the group
can perform with clarinet and sax only. Clarinet, violin,
sax, keyboard can be added to the band.
"Folk Trio Special Events"
The folk trio performs songs from the popular Italian tradition,
in particular Neapolitan and Tuscan. This trio is ideal as
evening entertainment for guests that love ancient atmospheres.
It is successful especially during dinners when the guests
can participate. Also a "folk duo" can be arranged with violin
and folk guitar/singer. The trio can be also add a second
violin and a clarinet.
Piano Bar
This choice is ideal as music background in every situation.
It is suitable for cocktails, dinners and dancing. A violin
can be added on request. Italian and international repertory
. Rock Bands & Blues Band Rock and Blues bands are alternative
to classic and folk. "The Jumping Beans" are a rock band with
a melodic rock repertory suitable for after dinners that plays
'70s and '80s such as The Rolling Stones, Jimmy Handrix, The
Doors, U2, Simple Minds, Prince, etc. "The Ten Club" is a
rock band with a large amount of covers from the famous rock
band Pearl Jam. Both bands have regular "gigs" in pubs and
they are particularly suitable for live events. The Blues
Band offers a Blues, Rhythm & Blues & Soul, ideal for receptions
or for after dinners.
Arabic Dance
The Arabic dancer evokes fascinating and suggestive middle
eastern atmospheres as unique entertainment for dinners, parties
and informal gatherings. Wearing the traditional Arabic costume
she can either dance in between tables or on stage. It can
be an "original" moment between a classical dinner and a more
rambunctious after dinner.
